We are a nonprofit society and community organization dedicated to preserving and protecting Edworthy Park as a natural environment, educating the community about its natural and cultural history, and promoting awareness, appreciation, and responsible use of the park. We advocate with City of Calgary staff and elected officials, coordinate volunteer environmental stewardship activities, and publish and share news, articles, and research related to Edworthy Park.
Edworthy can be accessed from both the north and south shore of the Bow River. Good automobile access points include the parking lot near Angels Cafe (north), the lot at the west end of Spruce Drive (west upper plateau), the lot at the end of Edworthy Road (south shore), or the lot at the northern end of 24 St SW (eastern end).
The park is also accessible by public transit via the #93 bus from Westbrook LRT (south side) or the #1 bus (north side).
It is also easily and beautifully accessible on foot or bicycle via the Bow River Pathway.
Information on this website is provided for public consideration, but Edworthy Park is owned and managed by the City of Calgary.
